Yorkville 2BR · Hale Navy feature wall

Two-bedroom owner-occupied unit on the 14th floor of a Yorkville mid-rise. The brief: make the 1,120 sq/ft live larger and feel calmer without going beige. We pulled the existing builder-grade flat off the walls (it touched up like patchwork), skim-coated three walls in the main bedroom that had hairline cracks, and laid down two coats of Regal Select Matte everywhere. The Hale Navy feature wall in the living room reads deep but never heavy because it sits behind the warmest natural light in the unit; the rest of the rooms are Cloud White CC-40 in Aura — a near-zero-VOC formula that lets the owner sleep in their own bed the same night. Trim and doors got Aura Semi-Gloss in the same Cloud White. Crown moulding in the bedrooms was hand-cut against ten-foot ceilings. Two painters, two days on-site, all furniture wrapped and replaced. No deposit, paid by e-transfer the morning after the walkthrough.
